In North China, #1 copper cathode spot prices against the front-month contract ranged from a discount of 190 to 150 yuan/mt, with an average discount of 170 yuan/mt, down 40 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. The transaction price was 81,090-81,450 yuan/mt, with an average of 81,270 yuan/mt, up 845 yuan/mt from the previous trading day.

The transaction price was 81,090-81,450 yuan/mt, with an average of 81,270 yuan/mt, up 845 yuan/mt from the previous trading day. Copper prices surged again, and downstream buyers were reluctant to purchase due to high prices, with very few inquiries and only sporadic transactions in the market.
